Default Mastery Class

I recently purchased a Bernina 350 as a backup/class machine. Today I took the Mastery and Memory class - it was so much fun. Can't believe how much I learned. I really appreciate the fact that my dealer provides this education free with the purchase of a machine. Met a lot of great people! Bonus was 20% discount on everything we purchased. Next month I'm taking the BSR class for the 830. Love those machines!

Do you get free classes with your machines? Do you learn a lot?

Congrats on your new purchase!

I received a monthly class free for a year when I bought my Bernina 230. Even now, I sometimes join the monthly class, it's $15/class and you do a project that teaches you a certain aspect. Last month was pintucking, I made a wonderful little pincushion caddy with pockets to drape over the arm of the chair. I've learned a lot in these classes, things I didn't know my machine could do.

Yes, my machine came with classes I learned a lot. They were held once a month and arranged to fit my schedule.

The dealer I bought my Viking from (many years ago) offered free classes for as long as I own the machine.

I purchased an 830 2 years ago and did get free classes! The first class I had a great teacher and learned a lot. The 2nd class the teacher wasn't very good and I haven't been back!! ( I was having trouble with the thread breaking and she couldn't figure out way!)

I also have the 830 - and found that it likes Isacord thread - but does not like Sulky. Once I made that change both the machine and I were happy campers.

My Bernina 440 came with free classes and there is also a free Bernina club once a month for whatever the majority want to focus on. A technique from Bernina U, feet or new machine.
