I made a Bow Tucks Bag for a friend. I used black for the botton and the inside. I washed it before I was going to give it to her and threw it in the dryer for a few minutes. When it came out the black has what looks like white fuzz on it but I can't get it off. I washed it with 400ct bed sheets thinking I would be safe and nothing would get on it. I was wrong. Does anyone have any idea on how to clean this up? I may just end up taking it apart and re-doing it. She gave me a yard of print fabric to use and I don't have enough to just make another one.

    Thanks

Try one of those stick lint rollers, or tape wrapped around your hand, good luck! Let us know.

Try shaving it, or get a defuzzer for sweaters.

Have you tried a lint remover or real sticky tape?

That has to be so frustrating. I would shave it like a sweater. I can't imagine trying to pick it all off by hand.

Maybe try washing and drying it again being sure not to wash anything else with it. 8-)

I have tried masking tape, duct tape, picking, straight blade but nothing seems to work. I don't have a shaver or able to get one where I live. Only store here is a Wal-Mart and they don't carry them. Not looking forward to maybe having to rip apart and starting over.

Are you ready for this? Try a Sharpie, color the little buggers! Can't possibly take as long as ripping it all out.

Did you use poly batting in it? Some off brands of poly beard like that and would show up on black especially. Look for poly batting that is needle-punched to a scrim if you want to use it.
