    I need to use a fabric that looks like chrome-something shiny- that can be used in a quilt and washed. What kind of fabric would I look for? Thanks for your help.

    get some silver or gray satin and wash and dry it before cutting.

    Thank you!! I actually KNOW what satin is but it never came to mind LOL!!!!!! ( A mind is a terrible thing to lose...........)

    Reflector fabric that they put on clothes so you glow in the dark when out walking at night? :)

    I'd probably go for a silvery grey cotton depending on the fabric content for the balance of your quilt.
