    Need Help With Feathers

I've always wanted to handquilt feathers but just never found the right quilt but I think I have the perfect one now. It's called Nine Patch Roses and I bought the kit from Craftsy since I fell in love with the fabrics. (http://www.craftsy.com/supplies/moda...quilt-kit/9803) I'd like to quilt feathers on the entire quilt but not sure how or where to start them. Do I start in the middle like you do any other quilting project? I think I know how to connect each feather but how do I go in a different direction so you can't tell where everything started? Hope this makes sense. It's really hard sometimes to get what your mind is seeing into words so others understand what you're trying to say. Thanks for the help!!!

Are you hand quilting on a frame or hoop? If you are on a frame you could mark and hand quilt feathers in horizontal rows. If you are quilting feathers in a hoop, you could do feathered wreaths to fit the hoop size.
