I have been asked to make a baby quilt for someone and their theme is elephants. I am looking ofr a child like elephant fabric and some coordinates. I have googled but couldn't find much.

    Thanks

Go to www.fabric.com and do a search for "elephant." They've got a lot of cool fabrics, including a number of choices from The Saggy Baggy Elephant, a children's book. I think you'll like it.

This site is one of my favorites for ordering fabric.

Were you looking to make it out of various elephant fabrics or just using one elephant fabric? If you want various, I have a small piece that I'd be happy to send you.

Jungle Babies from Joann's has several animals on it, but one is an elephant. They have it in cotton, flannel and fleece.

I found the following links, but most of the elephants are with other animals:

    http://www.jandofabrics.com/products...2&viewall=True

Perhaps you could make an applique quilt using some of the following patterns:
    http://www.google.com/images?rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7GGIT_en&q=elephant+pattern&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=mWXpS8v5F4Kdlgfet83aCg&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CDAQsAQwAA

    Or these:
    http://www.google.com/images?q=eleph...=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7GGIT_en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=AGbpS8SFK4WKlwet_rzsCg&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=6&ved=0CEAQsAQwBQ

Just an idea. Hope this helps, Jan

Birch made a bunch of organic cotton fabrics with elephants. I can't pull them up on their site, but you can find them at many different resellers by typing "elephants Birch organic cotton" into search engine.

Try Over the Rainbow (http://www.overrainbow.com) and search for elephants. It looks like she has about a dozen different prints, including flannel. Hope this helps.

Wow, back in the old days it was color: pink for girls and blue for boys and yellow/green if the sex was unknown. I found some on the Fabric shack website. They are my favorite online store.....

Results of the search for the following words (elephants)

    Happy hunting
