Thread: Need help from Longarmer's :(

I posted about this quilt before...I'm doing the Quilt in a Day Nouveau Wedding Ring quilt. I had asked about having to stitch in the ditch and such. Got some really great advice...So now I'm stuck again
I don't know where to start the stitching to travel to the center of the block to do the design and the little design on the smaller arc.....The main arcs are going to be on solid fabric piece, so wasn't going to have to quilt them. I'm going to try and include the block design I've choosen and maybe someone can help me with directions.....Oh hum I'm just about ready to not make this quilt for the wedding and pick a different pattern altogether, but really I spent soooo much time picking fabrics and purchases for this quilt kinda a shame if I change now....thanks ahead of time for any help....the little design is for where each block would joint.....

I'll take a stab at trying to help with this...
First of all, this is not a "continuous" design. What I mean is that this design is not draw in such a manner that you can continuously quilt it without having to stop and start and/or do a lot of back-tracking. The little one, however, CAN be done without stopping, it's really just like two figure 8's nested together.

I Googled "stencils for double wedding ring" and found several that could be continuously quilted. Here's one design that is very similar to what you have, yet it can be done without stopping or back-tracking or overlapping. You just have to plan it and practice it. I think it's simple enough that you could probably get good enough to free-hand the design.
