My oldest DD wants a quilt with an oriental theme. She just saw a quilt pattern that she likes, though we would just much different fabric choices. Here is the link:

http://www.lagunaquilts.com/quilt_im...ares_small.jpg

I know someone posted a quilt using this pattern within the last several months and I can't remember the name. Can you help?

If I want to make the quilt for her, I need to move on the fabric she likes before it is no longer available, but need yardages, etc.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know that pattern but it is very pretty. It would be great with Asian fabrics.

Hi everyone! Thanks for trying to help. Actually, I found the name and pattern just now by accident. It is BQ from Maple Island Quilts.

Now, if the material she likes is still available. It is by Andover Fabrics called Gingko Fantasy. I am hoping to make this quilt for her birthday in February. Wish me luck! :)

Amma,

I think it would work up great in Asian fabrics too. She doesn't want the white background so I was hoping maybe a cream or light beige. There is a gingko or Japanese maple leave pattern one in the Gingko Fantasy collection in beige, also one with oriental letter figures also in beige that I think might work as it would read not white, but light from a distance..
