Default Need help on a pattern or tutorial

Recently I have seen how to make the tissue holders with 4 pieces of fabric folded and a backing and thought I had printed the pattern off or at least saved it and now I CANNOT find it for the life of me. Can someone help point me in the right place. Want to make some as a small token gift and have my material all laid out and now no pattern. I thought it was on the quiliting board, but thus far have not found it. Help Help Help! and thanks a bunch.

There are oodles of tutorials for making tissue holders. If you google tissue holder tutorial, you'll get pages of them.
Here's a link to one that has different sizes for different kinds of tissues. http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/2010/12/...t-tissue-pack/
Here are the ones on the QB...

All of the tutorials that I have seen are all pretty much the same though.. fold, iron and sew They're quick and do make great token gifts.

I think you are looking for the one that is folded like you would fold a box top? I remember seeing it but don't remember which post, sorry.

Yes, think that is the one. I have been out online searching, and all of them are not the four pieces of fabric plus the backing I am looking for. Basically all I need is the measurements of the material and may have to experiment if I don't find something along that line. The Super easy one on the board with the two pieces of fabric is neat but wanted to make some of the folded material ones as well. I will keep looking or maybe someone will come up with an answer. The tute I saw was very straigtforwad, easy to follow and had the measurements, if only I could rememeber. Seems like my forgettor is getting stronger each day. <grin>

YES!!! That is the one. Thank you so much. I needed the measurements of the fabric, thought I could remember how to do it, but nice to have it all. Have printed it off and hopefully will get to making some tonight or tomorrow as have to be gone today. Thank you again so much. Don't know why I couldn't find that on the net when I was looking.

You can always count on help from this board and nice people such as yourself. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Yep, mine works exceptionally well, like you CRS!!!!. I try to keep it active, but it still forgets quite regularly. If you find how to make it work better, let me know <grin>.

I have made the other kind of tissue holder so I might have to try this one too! But I have made the coasters the way she explains and have also made the same coaster with 5-5" sqs. only I just folded them to a 1/2 sq. triangle shape and put them on the back that way. I also put some warm and nat. or a layer of flannel in the to absorb some moisture from the glass (in summers). It just gives it a twist. I have also seen potholders made this way with extra layers and/or Insulbrite. EZ PZ and FUN! Now if I can just remember what I was doing before I came to check the board!!!!!!
