I am new here and have a quilt top pieced together and on the rack to quilt. This is attic windows, and I don't know what to do to quilt it. Do I follow all the seams on the quilt, or do I embellish it like example a heart in the dark purple? I know how to do the quilting stiches, but I do not know what to do here. Help......

Perhaps 1/4 inch from the seam in each block.

Thanks for all your help. And Sunny580, I have checked out that site, and it looks amazing, but I'm not sure I can do that yet. Still a total newbie.......but thanks so much.

Why are the designs so thread heavy? Some seem so much that you are making new cloth. If tied ones ties are 2-3" apart to hold.
