Default Need help with Storm at Sea Pattern

Bought 5 fabrics for Toes in the Water. Cut a lot of the pieces and couldn't make it work. Trying to color the paper to place the fabric - nothing seems to work. I called the Robert Kaufman company and spoke with someone and found out that the colors in this pattern fades from dark to light so my 5 colors won't work. Is there a site I can go to that I can put this pattern in and play with the colors to try and place them instead of coloring each little square or triangle? Any help would be appreciated.

This is a 5 color Storm at Sea http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7Tj1g5jk5e.../Tsunami+5.JPG

I think this one has only 4 colors. http://jfkquilts.com/quilt_samples

If you Google, Storm at Sea 5 colors and look at all the image variations, maybe something will pop out at you that you will like.

When I goggle storm at sea quilt pattern, and then click on images, you will see pictures of different quilts as well as a blank to color yourself. This is what I used. It is helpful to see it colored. Good luck.

I use eq7 - my problem is that I don't have a color printer, so even though I can have the layout fine, I still have to mark the printout because it's not in color. To get around this, I'll sometimes change the "fabric" in eq7 to something with noticeably different patterns so that it will show up with enough differentiation when printed.

Check Quilters Cache and the Quilt Block Library. The library will let you play with the colors some.

You can always download to a USB stick and go to a printing type store to have it printed in color. Or maybe a friend will help you out for just a copy or two.
