Default Need help with strata star or star spin topper

I actually have made this before, but it's been a couple of years. I used Roolen's pattern, but it confused me then & is confusing me now. I went to her website & googled to the English translation, but I want to know how many completed strips do I make? I understand how to cut the large triangles, but how do I cut the small triangles? Are the small triangles on separate strips? Help....

www.roolen.blogspot.com It's in Russian and you have to click on the google translation at the right side of the page. She called it Star Spin, but other people call it Strata Star.

You can see the Star Spin that I made if you search for Finished Star Spin Topper. I don't know how to add the link...sorry.

You need 6 strip sets. The small triangles are cut from 2 strip sets. The large triangles are cut from 4 strip sets. Hope this helps. If you need more info PM me.

Thank you Gail...This is exactly the information that I needed. I knew that I should make 4, but couldn't remember if the small triangles came from those 4 or if I needed to make 1 or 2 additional strips. Do I use all the fabric strips to make the 2 or do I use just the 3 bottom fabrics?
