I have the fabric. The sewing machine is set up...... Just can't seem to get started on this butterfly lap quilt I'm wanting to make for my great niece..... HELP!! I need some encouragement!!

There's no problem. You have decided what to do. That's the first step. We have so many choices, so at least you have that done.
press you fabric, grab that cutter and ruler and take one step at a time. It will be fun once you see some progress. Cant wait to see a photo. Happy sewing.

Once you get started, you will wonder why it took you so long to get started. :) Think fun, not chore. I am "fixin" to start a new quilt today. First step...new rotary blade. I should have changed it one quilt back. :)

what butterfly patternare you useing. I'm working on a butterfly quilt myself. I just love useing up my sracp for the butterfly. I'm not liking the way the pattern I have is working up. so look for something eles.

Turn on some music or a book on tape , drink a glass of water, go to the bathroom, take a deep breath and just do it, You can do it!!
