Those are marvelous. I would pair them with darker batiks, unless you do want a pale quilt/baby something. For me, the easy choice would be something like my "Melons in the Batik Patch"

Why not scan through the video tutorials on Missouri Star Quilting. Jenny has some on Layer Cakes and her directions are great!!!!!!!!!!!!

See Jenny's tutorial for a chevron quilt at Missouri Quilt Co. You will need some darker colors to make it pop. froggyintexas
