I make aprons for a local restuarant and one of the gals had a pen leak...really bad...any suggestions as how to get the ink out? I would really appreciate the help!

Hair spray works but someone might know of something else that works better.

You might possibly try using hair spray to get the ink out. I think I might have herd that some where. If that doesn't work try Googling to find different ideas. Hope that helped you out.

Rubbing alcohol works well too. Dab from the outermost part of the stain towards the center, otherwise it gets bigger. Have some clean white paper towels underneath the stain so it will absorb whatever blots through.

How about Gramma's Spot remover, I think that's the name of it. Usualy you can get it at Hancock's fabric stores.

Here's Heloise's idea for ink stains:

Ballpoint-Ink Stain
THEN: Hairspray
NOW: Rubbing alcohol
Ink formulations, fabrics, and hairspray ingredients have changed today. To get rid of the ballpoint ink from clothing you launder, place the garment on a towel stain-side down. Lightly dampen a cloth with rubbing alcohol and gently dab (do not rub) the stain.
