I was looking through my stash and found my husbands favorite football team fabric I had purchased about 5 years ago. Does anyone have any cute ideas for a lap throw with this material (I can add other material also)

You could do a "Just Can't Cut It" quilt with that as the focus fabric. Or, you could do a Downy-type alternating 4-patch. I would use the Dolphins fabric as the big square and orange/turquoise solids or near-solids for the 4-patches.

I think a Warm Wishes or D9P would look good.

the 10 minute block, with the fabric shown, used in the middle would be good too

If you go to the Search feature at the top and type in Suggestions for Green Bay Packers Quilt there's a thread that has lots of pics of football quilts others have made. Lots of different styles shown. Good luck.

I'm working on the planning for a football quilt now. One idea I have is to make a sort of checkerboard quilt. One set of squares will be the Green Bay Packers logo, and the other set will be numbers of some of the more famous players or the more favorite players of my stepdaughter and her husband. I would add the names and positions of the players using the alphabet feature on my machine. Just in the planning stages right now, but working on it.

Thanks for bringing this up. I have Ram's fabric to get done as well. Warm wishes was my choice, but I'm open to suggestions.

We usually use an Irish Chain pattern-quick and easy!
