Hi, Hope you can help me with ideas for hand quilting a 18" square
(before borders) wall hanging. It's a beautiful panel with a wolf baying at the moon. I am not sure how to quilt the picture. I haven't ventured out very much with my hand quilting -- mostly
outline and shadow quilting.

To me it sounds like you could outline quilt on it nicely. Especially the wolf part, but really hard to tell when you can't see it.

Hi Marti, Is there any way you can post a picture of the panel? Can you find the panel from a website even and share it?

As a thought without seeing a picture I would maybe outline the major items of the panel. You could maybe do some echo quilting. I would think about following features lines of the animal. You could enhance features of the ground area. Since it's a wall hanging, is it going to be washed? If not then you don't need a lot of quilting since it will be hanging on the wall.

Thanks Pam, The wolf is a wall hanging and won't need a lot of
quilting. I'll just out line the moon and the wolf and that should do it.
Have a great day!
