Falling Charms on MSQ site uses both jelly roils and charms,

Jenny has lots of tutes for using those. You can cut the layer cake into 4 charm packs for the falling charms quilt.

Check out 1 + 2 = Easy Quilt Pattern @ www.fabricmom.com/easy-quilt-patterns/ very similar to the picture auntpiggylpn posted. I think you could combine the two patterns. Hope I am remembering the right quilt and it is different than auntpiggylpn's quilt. Lol
