I won this fabric off ebay. I love the fabric, but the problem is the print is a lot bigger that I thought it would. Got any ideas how I can work it into a lap quilt. What pattern would work. I am cofident some one will come up with something, so thanks in advance. Oh and so far this is the only fabric I have so I am open to anything. Wanted to keep with the red hat society theme though. Guess next time I will ask about the print size, probally would of bought anyway because I really like it

If you have a yard or more, you could just put borders around it, a backing fabric, quilt and bind it.

If you're looking for a quilt block comprised of pieces that are large enough to show off the fabric, how about a snowball block? Here is a link that shows several variations:

This is adorable. I would make a panel and make two rows of border surrounding it.

This was my thought also... good luck, and don't forget to post photos when done. :)

The Floral Rails I am going to make soon has some 10" blocks. A yard is enough if you use some else for the first border. Go to the Benartex site and look for their free quilt patterns. If you can't find it, I can do a download for you. I'll check back.
