Default Need ideas to try and re-engerize by Fiskars turnable cutting mat

Met a pit bull that decided my dominate right hand needed to have about 60% of its usefulness removed. This is making trying to quilt quite the adventure. Figured out how to use the machine effectively and cutting can be accomplished with adaptation. Trimming my HSTs is a real slog. My turnable Fiskars helps a lot and I would like to make is slider-er like it used to be, because I have to turn it with my left hand only. Any suggestions? wD40 -- wax or ????

I rinse my rotating mat in warm water. Pat dry and then let air dry.

I am so sorry about your injury. I just use a smaller mat instead of the expensive turntables.
