This is my favorite pattern to use now, and not just for baby! Speedy Baby II by Deslynn Mecham

I embroider the middle 16 1/2" square and use scraps that I cut into 5" squares for the charm border. The sizes are already there for the borders so it makes up fast. I just added a bear paw square to the first border for my HS reunion quilt (Northrop Bruins)!

You have described me perfectly instead of picking up and doing- I tell myself that there might me something else that I would like to use the fabric for and then it does not get used. Thanks for the advice and nice to know that I am not the only one that has had this happened tol
