Default Need Juki 2010Q help

My primary sewing machine has been in the shop for 6 weeks. So after much research, I bought a Juki 2010 Q sewing machine 2 weeks ago. I'm very happy with the machine but the instruction manual does not give alot of detailed information. I tried searching online but didn't find anything useful. The machine came with 2 free motion quilting foots, the one is slightly bigger than the other. Is it just personal preference as to which one you use? There is also a compensating presser foot. I tried to use it once and the fabric won't feed through. Not sure what to use it for. Any other tips for general use would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Juki but not that one. There should be a website or phone number for customer service somewhere in the manual. Try this http://www.jukihome.com/support/jukisupport.html

I got a comprehensive instruction book and a DVD with both of my Juki's ? Maybe contact dealer to see if they have spares, I have the 600.

This is a great machine, imo. Either of the two FMQ feet can be used for FMQ. They have different diameters for echo quilting.
The compensating foot is your 1/4" foot w guide. The fabric should butt up against the side of the guide as you sew. Having it beneath the guide will hinder stitching.
Enjoy the machine; I love mine!

I have a Bernina 1530 and I have two sizes of FMQ feet. I think it is more of a preference since I haven't found much difference using either one.

Enjoy your Juki, just a little note, the basic foot with two prongs will sew a scant 1/4" if fabric is lined up with the right edge. The compensating foot sews a larger 1/4.
