Default Need a little help.....

Should I sash this top? If so I have more of the yellow 'star' or do something new? Also what color to bind it? The back will be some blue that I have on hand. This t-shirt quilt is for a snowmobile club auction (FYI) and I know it won't make the money I have into it. They never do!

I think the yellow would look good with a black or grey binding. Hope the auction goes well.

I like the idea of the yellow -- it will make it seem like the blocks are floating. I think black or the brown that you have used to frame some of the squares would be nice for binding. You have done a good job in creatively arranging the t-shirts.

i think that the bordered shirts should just be placed randomly... no even sashing.

I think a yellow border would look great. They would look like they are floating. A dark binding would also look well.

I wouldn't sash it, but I would add more yellow for a border (especially on the sides). I would bind it with the same blue you use for the backing. A blue edge would go great with the yellow.

Do you mean sashing or border? Looks like you already have the yellow between the blocks, so I think you mean border. Yellow would be good for that. Binding could be black, brown, blue, or all of them.

I would put a yellow border on. Did you think of a raffle instead of auction? We found that a quilt makes more that way.

A raffle might be a better idea...I will mention that to the group! Yellow it will be with a grey binding and a blue backing...no to get it done by Thursday.....along with quilting it! Thank for all the input!

Looks great... glad you decided to add the same yellow as a border. I think that will 'finish' it nicely. Good luck with the raffle!
