I'm quilting this scrappy quilt for a lady who is 90. And my first thought was to do a swirl in black squares but now that I have first section done, I'm thinking I like the black and gray squares plain. Please tell me your thoughts. Thanks Becky

Can't tell how large the squares are but if the batting doesn't need closer quilting, I'd say it's fine. I think I would just put arcs like you used in the other squares.
People will see your quilts long after you're gone - NOT your housework!
I agree with Pam, the orange peel look is always good. For the future, that quilt would have looked nice with a babtist fan design on it. It's looking good.

It is completed and looks nice.

Your quilting is always spot on! Great work!!!
Becky, it looks great as is. Nice job!
I quilt on my Bernina and I prefer the arcs in squares, diamonds and HSTs. I'm sure she is going to be delighted to have it quilted.
A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort
I like that look...carry on!
Retired teacher, loving it.
Love quilting also.
Looking very nice!!! With two inch squares, they should be find, if you wish to leave them plain.
