Hi all you great folks! I am making a couple of throws to go in the music store.
I made 9 patches and was thinking to make them D9P. I showed DH the 9P and he likes them. He said I can leave them like that but if I want I can do the extra work of the D9P. He doesn't object, but thinks they are fine as is, too.

I am posting the pics of the 9P, and would love suggestions of whether to leave them as such, or go for the D9P.
Thanks for your help in advance!

I like the 9P. I'm not a fan of the D9P. JMHO!

edited to say...I love your blocks!

I think that would look so cool as a D9P. :)

Why not do some of each? You could always throw a few D9P in to mix things up a bit. I like all of the 9P blocks and agree with you husband on this!

Hi WIldyard. I like the 9-patch alone because it shows so much more. But I have done the disappearing one too. So hummmmm....let's see. OK I like the 9=patch. I think it one will be able to see more of the musical theme. Either way, it will be wonderful. It will be great in your music store.♥♥

Are you doing sashing if you leave it a 9P? I'm seeing black sashing with cornerstones set on point. No D9P for this one. How many more blocks do you need to make? Lately, I'm liking 9P mixed with snowballs, then you could skip the sashing.
