Does it make a difference which border you add first?

I am adding 2" strips as a final border ....the strips are long enuf for the short ends so I wouldn't have to piece them if I did them FIRST....the sides will have to be pieced whether I do them first or not.....SO....I normally do the sides first and then the ends ....would it matter to do it the other way?

I add them whichever way I can depending on the amt of fabric I have. I really don't think it matters.

I agree with Vicki, it is absolutely your choice. The end result is the real preference. Have fun and don't worry!
Happy Quilting,
