i love the star. Made a smaller one did free motion not brilliant look at picture.i washed it but lost interest when the reds turned the white to pink.

How about clamshell? With all those straight lines it would give it some movement.

I would crosshatch the background and then echo quilt about an inch inside the triangles.

I did one and echo quilted the center -- I really liked the result.
