This is my dd first quilt top. She recieved this checked fabric from a young woman at
a shelter in Cambodia, while on a mission trip. The lady was a resident and actually wove the fabric while my dd watched. To say the least, it is poorly woven. But, it means so much to my dd. Should I meander those blocks or just do some type of echo? I am just doing an outline of the blocks with the squares she added. She is back in NYC and has no clue anyway, so I can't ask her. Keep it simple....she also left me three baby quilts to make with fabric she brought back. LOL!

The last picture is of the baby quilts. I love the batik with the elephants.

Not sure if I'd meander. It might be pretty if you echoed the square shape in the plaid blocks? It is pretty.

I LOVE the baby quilts! They are adorable.

And - quite aside from this, the quilt that is hanging on your wall looks pretty too!

Thanks Carrie, the quilt on the wall was made by my late aunt. She is the one who got me into quilting. It means a lot to me.

You have given us a mini quilt show! Love the fabrics your daughter intrusted to you and the blue angel quilt is such a beautiful treasure.
