I am looking at purchasing a Janome 2160 QDE but I can not seem to find any information about the machine and of course the price. If anyone knows anything please tell me thanks.

I would call a dealer and ask for information. If you don't get any results I can ask my LQS, now that she is a dealer.

I looked at that link. It says that machine is retired. Check Ebay to see if others are selling it.

Are you sure this is the right machine? When I look for a Janome 2160 all I find is a Janome 2160 DC not a QDE and the Janome site has no listing for this machine (retired or active). Amazon has the 2160 DC listed for $399. My daughter has the 2010 DC and it is a sweet little machine. I'm a spoiled Pfaff owner but I wouldn't mind a Janome 2010 for a back-up machine and the 2160 DC looks interesting too. I just can't tell you about how well the 2160 sews. I hope this helps.

If you go to search and type in the machine description, you may find other threads on it.

Also, you can reviews of machines on this website:

The reviewers on patternreview paid $499 earlier in the year and while the reviews are OK, there are some points of concern (or at least they would be points of concern for me).
