    Need suggestions for quilting

This is a bedsize quilt. I was thinking of stippling in the green part with a green thread. Then using a brown thread on the tree trunks to make FMQ vertical lines. What should I do about the area around the trees, the sashing and reddish-brown setting triangles on the edge?

If you wish to continue with the more realistic aspects of the quilting to emphasize the trees...how about coming up with a repetative jagged mountain-like motif between the trees? Not sure about sashing and setting triangles but some variation of the bargello look of the mountains might comfortably be varied and introduced into the edge as well?

I'm thinking about echo quilting the point of the triangle in the setting squares. Maybe the quilt will talk to me while I'm basting and tell me how to quilt it.

I like Basketman's idea. It looks like a cute quilt! Have fun with it whatever you come up with.
