I just ordered EM2 so that I can finally learn how to digitize my own designs. Does anyone have this software?

It was a good buy, 99.95 with free shipping and it comes with 3800 pre-digitized designs, phunky fonts, etc.

Just wanted an opinion on it.

    Thanks,
    Sondra

I do not have this program, but I would be very interested in what you think of it after you get the chance to use it :D That is a very good price, the ones I looked at several years ago were way more than that!

I have never heard of the program. I am using 2 different programs. PE Design 7 for Brother and an industrial program put out by the Sewing & Embroidery Warehouse called RB-8000. The second is a lot harder to use. I started with the very first PE Design program about 12 years ago. I have done lots of different designs over the years. I am working on right now for my daughter of her sea cadet corps.

I am sure that you are going to enjoy doing your own designs. Family and friends will be asking for custom work.

What kind of machine do you have?

I'd like to know what you think of it too, I bought a tutorial for putting your picture into paint and cleaning up the edges so the machine (Singer) software can read it, I only tried it once on a bulldog logo but it was still fuzzy around the edges and I just haven't messed with it again, heck I only have a little time and I don't like to waste it learning stuff! LOL I want the software to do the work and me get the praise.!

I am not sure about the programs for the other machines but the ones I use I find it easier and less time consuming to open the picture as a template and trace over it. I can do some pretty detailed work in a couple of hours. We are talking military crests with all the leaves and crown. I will see if I can find anything that I have done. They are fun programs to work with and if they work like mine do it is like messing around in Paint.

This one didn't take me very long. I can't find any of the crest right now but I will keep looking, I know they are around here somewhere.

something I did for hubby's company a few years ago.
