I think it definitely needs a border & as some others have said, a narrow one to frame the quilt & then a wider border to finish it off. IMHO, only.

I would add a border(s). I like borders; I think they finish the quilt.

I agree with other comments that a narrow one in the pink or light purple colours and then a wide dark would frame it nicely.
