for colors to use for border strips for this scrappy quilt I am making.....I am drawing a blank as to what colors to use....I need 3 colors....one for inside border(3")......one for the middle(1 3/4") & one for the outside(6"....I am thinking of doing a scrappy border since I have a bunch of the squares I used already leftover...but they will run like piano keys all around.....sorry for rambling...on with the picture.....& thanks a bunch for any ideas.

Definately start with a green inner boarder. Then pick another at random, or use white, then scrappy. Love your quilt top

1st border...white to match the stars. Second border...the leftover blocks. Third border one of the darker fabrics in the quilt to frame it all. I love the way the green makes everything else pop! Very nice.

I was thinking maybe a little skinny darker green for the first border, then your bright green then a scrappy one... Love the white stars and the green sashing!

There needs to be a red print in those borders, probably the middle one after the white inner border. Out side border a blue print to match one of the blues in the quilt and then use the left over blocks for a scrappy binding.

The green is so bright, it should come out to the border too!
