I've been so bummed out lately, I can't seem to sew! Do you ever feel like that? What helps? (I hope it's not inappropriate to post this here. If so, I apoligize)

I find the only thing that helps me is to get off the computer and the quilting board start a small simple project!!

I suffer from depression so I go through that a LOT. Some days are just sofa days.
I do have a "sun therapy" light. It really helps when there are gray days with no sun.
Getting out of the house helps.
Spending time with people helps.
And surfing quilting blogs helps.
So, if the blues continue too long, see a doctor. Otherwise, this too shall pass. And when you do get going again - look out. There's a lot of creativity to make up for!

When I get in one of those moods I decide it is time to read. I start a new book and don't do anything until I finish it. Of course, DH sometimes has meals late when I get into the book. That usually recharges my sewing batteries and I'm good to go for awhile.
Hope you soon feel better

I usually straighten up. When it's time to relax, I look at quilting books - just to look.

When the mood hits again, the room is nicely organized and I'm full of ideas.

Enjoy the LULL....it too shall pass.

A few days on the QB usually does the trick. The other thing - when I get overwhelmed, I pull out some magazines, review my projects, and just go play in my room. Sooner or later, I get the bug again.

If push comes to shove, sign up for a swap. Deadlines work wonders for me. lol

This happens to me too. The following have helped:

Go for a walk. I use the alarm on my cell phone and walk "out" for 15 minutes, then walk back home for 15 minutes.

Browse through (quilt :-D ) books or magazines at home or at the library.

Set a timer for 30 minutes and clean, straighten or sort something.

Meet a friend for coffee, tea, lunch, walking.

Get out the colored pencils and paper and design a quilt, draw or just doodle.
