Yeah, I kind of get the same response. My friends just look at me and shake their heads.....then compliment me on my small stitches
I made a sun bonnet and my neighbor insisted that there wasn't anyway it was all done by hand the stitches were TOO small.

They're wonderful for regular sewing but I haven't used any for quilting. The ones I had were much too big for quilting :-D

I think they have a self thread needle or something like that but I have never tried them.

I haven't bent mine yet, but I haven't done a lot of hand-quilting lately.

I did find a friend's needle at a house. I asked her if she had either bent a straight needle or straighted a curved one...

seems like such a good idea, hope the needles come in sizes, like Roxanne's.

A wonderful gal just sent me a couple and I love how easy it is to bury knots when machine quilting. It saved me a ton of time, not to mention it saved my fingers from wear and tear. Gotta love that! I haven't tried it yet for hand quilting so we'll see.

LOL...did hubby tick you off?

I was thinking maybe you need a 'shorter' needle, instead of longer. I've never had this problem. I guess us meeces don't put a lot of muscle...oh yeah...my needle is magic...there's the difference
Very funny!~~ Magic needle....it isn't the muscle...its the bad eyesight...got any magic eyeballs???
