That is so great that you two have that common interest! My sister and I both quilt and I have a brother that does woodworking that I think could become hooked on quilting as well. Sad to say my mom has no interest in quilting and more or less thinks I am batty for loving it so much. Two years ago when we started working on the big quilt we did for the church, she told me not to get involved because I would end up doing it all. I am thankful to say, she was wrong. But I am so glad for you that your mom is hooked :!:

Thanks for all your really nice comments. Well, here is the picture you asked for. This is Mom sewing "our" first quilt - the one that got her hooked! It went to a really cute little boy who is terminally ill. We pray that his family will get some comfort from the quilt after their little one has passed on. Anyway, here is Mom, and we are having lots of fun together quilting away!
