Smile new Juki long arm

I read on my Juki yahoo group that Juki has come out with a machine with an 18" throat and a 10' metal frame. It won't be available til November. The author saw it at the International Quilt Festival in Long Beach. Approx price: show special around $8k.
I can't wait!!! I'm a Juki girl!

I love my Juki, Too...but $8K is a bit much for me right now...I will have to stick with what I have.

I love my Juki also, it would be much easier for me to spend 8K than it would be for me to find space for it. I will stick with the Juki I have. Glad you are going to get one.

Oh, I mislead you... I can't wait , just knowing that it exists to ponder over, I'm not necessarily getting one! I have to hanker a long, loooooong time, before I spend $8K....But I am thrilled that Juki is entering the quilting market more-so with a long arm!!!

I have an older Juki TL 98 Q and it still sews perfectly. Is the $8000 for just the machine or does that include a frame?

Before I paid that much money for a long arm, I would buy a Bailey(http://www.baileyssewingcenter.com/i.html), for roughly half the price. They're a family owned business and know their machines and have excellent service.

How much does the Juki long arm cost?
I have a table and a Baby Lock Jane on it. Not good.
My carriage will hold an 18 in throat machine.
As you can see the rods take up most of the throat space.

Juki is also working on an 18" sit down machine as well. It is suppose to be available sometime next year, possibly late spring or early summer.
