Default New To Me Quilt Shop in Orange County, CA

Tranquility Quilts opened up in January of last year and I didn't even know they were there! About a mile and half from my house no less! They are in Orange County, at 10191 Valley View St., in Cypress, next to the old Mervyns (which is a Ross or TJ Maxx or something now, don't remember - I was too focused on the quilt shop!).

Their website is www.tranquilityquilts.com.

They have a longarm that they will train you on and charge $25 an hour to use after training. The shop is beautifully laid out, with lots of quilts on display to get inspiration from. They also have classes. Their website is a bit of a disappointment because it's kind of outdated, but the shop is well worth the visit and everyone is really nice.

Love that place! The only thing I don't like is that they stopped taking the Joann's coupons, but they have to eat too!

When I was in there on Thursday, they said that everything in the store was 30% off on Thursdays, and if you paid cash it was 40% off. But I didn't see anything about that on their website.
