I am planning a quilt as a wedding present for my nephew. It will be made with Carol Doak's Michigan Star from her 50 Fabulous Paper Pieced Stars book. The star will be made to almost look amish being that it will have a black background with green and blue highlights. I want a nice solid fabric for the blue and green and was thinking of using Moda Bella Solids for it. Any other suggestions for a solid material?
