Hi everybody:

This picture caught my eye and I talked myself into thinking I can do it. Of course it won't look exactly like this but I'm going to give it a try. I've attached the picture of what the designer said it should look like and a pix of some of the fabrics I've started to gather for it. The green leaf print is going to be used for the leaves on the tree itself. I am going to change up the pattern a little bit also but before I do will re read the original directions. Perhaps it was just me. This will be a wall hanging. The color scheme might fit well into my office so I'll have to see the finished product before I decide what to do with it.

It's more like you'll be dragged along when I go shopping for fabric. These are fat quarters and what the store called Taddles. They are an 11 inch square. Since this is mostly applique then I thought I could get those for a lot.

I was debating on whether or not to do that or not. it might just depend on how tired I will get working on it.

that is really going to be pretty! I love Tree of Life things. There is a gorgeous Tree of Life knitted afghan. I do very little knitting though, so I won't be making one of those. I never thought of quilting one! oh no....another project to add to my wish list :D
