Went to my Quilt Guild meeting this past Monday and they had a speaker by the name of Jean Ann Wright. She was the editor of Quilt magazine for 20 years. Now she designs quilts for some of the fabric companies. Anyway, she has a new book coming out the 1st of November that is really cool. It's called
"Circle of Nine". It's based on the premise that instead of using sashing around your blocks, you use what they call spacers and you only need nine blocks. Already preordered mine from Amazon. Thought you might be interested.

I just looked it up....GREAT quilt! I can see what she means by 9 blocks, too. I'll have to put it on my wish list.
