That sounds like it would have been a very very good deal. I read on a blog the list price is $2999, and I know they usually come down from that, but $999 sounds a great discount to me.

I was soooo tempted, DH even asked if I was gonna buy it! but I do have a very nice, but older TOL machine and just bought a juki2000 for FMQ last year. As nice as it was I really couldn't justify it.

That's my next machine, my friend who has all Janomes 6600 11000 9000, just bought it, I love sewing on it. PS she works for the Janome dealer. The quilters want the bigger bed. Hope that helps.
