    Default Newbie is lost help.

Hello I'm new to the board and still feeling my way around. Yesterday I was in a thread (don't know what it was ) it had a picture in one of the comments of a blue quilt that looked like the blocks where laying on top of each other kind of three D effect? I asked if anyone new the name of the pattern I'd love to try it. The problem is I can't find it now the thread that is. If this rings any bells and someone can point me in the right direction I'd be ever so grateful. Thank you. Even better give me a pattern name?

I find the easiest way to go back to something that you see and like, is to comment on it as then you can see all your posts and go back to it.
Good luck, you will get used to how things work

This is an easy way. I do it often. You can also do a search at the top right of the page.

Quiltaddiction, I'm making toadusew's Thinking Outside the Block right now. It's for one of my grandsons who just started highschool and wanted a quilt with his new school colors, so it's red and black. It's an easy pattern -- basically log cabin blocks put together in a different way. Toadusew's instructions are very easy to follow and they give you dimensions and fabric requirements for every size imaginable. They also suggest a quilting design which I always appreciate. The only caution I have is to be super accurate with your cutting and 1/4" seam. You'll enjoy making it.

If you have commented on a thread, you can view it later by checking on your profile page. On the page that you sign in on, the top right corner has Welcome_______, Notifacations, MY PROFILE..... Click on My Profile and a new page will come up with your info on it. Look on the left side under your Avatar picture and click on newest posted threads and it will list all the threads that you commented on. It is just above newest started threads.

Thanks so much for the tip I will be very careful. Please show your grandsons quilt when you are finished Red & Black would really pop I think. I really like both the log cabin block and the effect of this pattern I've ordered it from Toadusew probably take a week or so to get here though. I'll start thinking colours
