I think that there is a probably a typing error in this pattern.
On BLOCK #11 Hayes Corner this is what the pattern is saying for the Light Background.

If you see, it says cut 6 2inch x 1/2 inch rectangles...thats impossible!!!! Because...if you do a 1/4 inch seam...there would be nothing left of that 1/2 inch piece. Hehe. So I looked the pattern over and I believe that it is just a typing error and is supposed to say 2 inch x 3 1/2 inch rectangle.

If I am wrong...please let me know. I am going to be cutting out fabric to make this and was writing down what peices needed to be cut out of what fabric and that is how I found it.

7” x 15” rectangle Light Background, cut:
(6) 2” x ½” rectangles
(2) 2” x 5” rectangles

that has happened before. the pattern from either last month or the month before had all kinds of mistakes. I got an email from them to download the new patterns where they fixed them all.

Good catch. In step 2 of the assembly it tells you to attach a 2 x 3 1/2 light background rectangle. You got it right!

Nothing like literally reading this huge pattern word for word. But I did it.

So this afternoon since the sun is shining bright again, I will be sewing out on my patio, well cutting fabric on my patio. Wonder if my husband would make us a pot of chili for dinner tonight. Yummy he makes some out of this world chili, but then again, it may just tastes like its from out of this world because I didn't have to cook it. LOL. Hmmm, I bet thats the reason, but oh well...I won't tell him any different. lol

If it is appropriate to ask, would someone mind sharing this pattern? I missed that one. I didn't even find that site until after the Christmas pattern was over and I loved that one too.

Sometimes it takes hours to get all the quilt blocks together and sometimes I just stumble upon them all within half an hour. I can't always sit down and spend the time it takes to get all the block patterns.

Thank you!
