So, my new years resolution was to organize my craft closet and my desk at work. I have been working on taking my fabrics from the totes and piles they were in and wrapping them to store them vertically. I was amazed, I always thought that I didn't have much of a stash, but now that it is all out for me to see, I have a TON! It does help that my Joanne's is moving stores, so they are liquidating their stock (yesterday got a load of stuff for about 70% off average!)

Improvements to the closet is mainly the addition of the bookshelf, but then I re-arranged stuff for more room in the large shelving.
I'm sorry I don't have any before pictures, I forgot to take them in my excitement to get organized.

My new fabric store! LOL

Very nice! I need to do this, too - I hope my results are as great as yours!

Not to be nosey, but what kind of embroidery machine is that and how big of a design will it sew? I have a small Brother PE150 and it will only has a 4 X 6 frame. So actually my sewing area is smaller.

My machine is the Brother Innovis 1500D. I got it off ebay, it has been a lot of fun so far! I believe it will do like 11x8 or something like that. I have not used the largest hoop yet, but we are getting to know each other.
