I have about 80 of 5 inch (4.5 finished) nine patch blocks. They are assorted colors, all have white. Need ideas on how to use.

I like snowball and 9patch patterns, if you have the fabric to make the snowballs to go with it. Otherwise, why not just put them all together in one big center, or alternate them with 5" solid blocks?

Whatever you do with the center, alternate with snowball blocks or some other block, or a narrow sashing I'd save 4 and put one in each corner of the border. You could also put a panel in the center, a plain strip around that and then use some rows of the 9 patch blocks around the outside of it, then do your borders.

I'm thinking just the solids. These blocks are from an swap a few years ago. Very unlightly to find matching fabric. I was wondering how to make them kiddie for a charity quilt.

Do a disappearing 9 patch. There are tutorials on the board for doing them.

you could use them also in a 10 minute block...have one consistent block to use for your center and have at it.

I am not sure, but can you add white blocks and make some sort of irish chain?

If you want to make children's quilt, I would use alternate blocks of either solid colors or a cute novelty print.

What fun and good ideas here.
