Default No mistakes, only artistic additions!

So I mini-stippled all the way through the background of this quilt and then noticed that I have a non-deliberately unquilted blob (see circled space in lower right corner).

Do I go back and quilt it? Nooooo, please.
Do I make up a story for it? Yes!

As I was quilting this quilt, a frog jumped into it and I had to quilt around him.

Someone told me it looks more like a lizard, so I added that he looks so slim because I accidentally quilted over one of his legs -- ewwww. Which is partly why I can't remove him.

Personally, I think mistake-ridden quilts are a whole lot more interesting and imagination-triggering. Or at least that's what I tell myself to justify not fixing them ;-).

I love it! .... and the stories that go along with it! They're not mistakes, they are individual signatures that make it more interesting.

I think it looks great. Show any quilt police the door! Love the colors and the pattern.

Love the stories you came up with and would leave it like it is. No one will notice.

Beautiful quilt. If you're satisfied with it, that's what is most important. It looks just fine.
