I hear you on that! Work time during the day goes slow, but lunch time when I hand sew goes by so fast...........

I was able to get quite a few done this year. The trick for me was picking simple patterns and no complicated quilting designs! I'll work on the more complicated stuff after the holidays so I don't feel rushed.

I completely agree! I have one that I need to finish this weekend while boyfriend is out of town. Finished it (I was about 50% done last week) over the last 2 days. Quilting it completely Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Binding while he's away. Oh, and my quilting stuff is all packed up, just to complicate things!

I tried to get a size XL quilt sandwiched and pinned at work yesterday and today. (I like using the boardroom table...BIG) Even taking an extra 1/2 hr each lunch, I still didnt' get it finished, but close enough that I can finish at home. I want to get the machine quilting done this w/end. Since I work Friday, that doesn't leave me a lot of time. Friday work should be interesting...only 3 of us there!! Guess we will be ordering in lunch. ;)
