I actually like the second color better. Changing the color wouldn't be that hard.... you don't have to rip the whole row out, only around the area you want to change. Kind of a pain, but really more time consuming than anything. My advice is that if you really don't like the pink, change it now, or you'll always regret the fact that you didn't.

oh my, but you do sound like me. I second, third and fiftieth-guess
myself about my selections.
I think it looks fine, but I don't have to live with it.
I do like your other fabric, but what a lot of work and there will always
be a prettier one, a more perfect one, etc.
lol, I guess you sought advice hoping that we would say: "oh that's
dog ugly and you should rip and insert that other fabric a.s.a.p"
Good luck with your decision...wish I didn't share your mindset, lol.

your quilt top is very pretty, but if you are not happy now you will never be happy with it. I see brown in both pieces where the pink fabric is now. I would try and see what brown would do there. Maybe yes maybe no.

I agree. Instead of ripping out the pink squares, consider this idea..... why not applique a vine with leaves and flowers over the top of the pink to diffuse the colour a little?
