My kids always talk about people and say they are "real old" and I say "about how old" and they'll say 60. It's so funny because in a few years I'll be 60 and 60 ain't old. 90 is old, maybe. I'll know if it's old when I get there.

Beautiful machine! And, remember, we're like a fine wine, we get better with age! (Old cliche, but true).

If I had a dollar for every time I got distracted I wish I had some ice cream.

Ha! My parents gave me a used one like that for a wedding present in 1975. You can't beat these machines.

That's alright I told a coworker I quilted and he told me that was for old ladies, I said i guess I'm old then. My computer tells me I'm 64 by my internet selections, that's twice my age LOL

She's a beauty. I think it's cool the worker even noticed your machine, not your usual guy thing. Nothing like a classic.

If it had been a car, he'd probably have been drooling over it. I got one just like that ('59) for a wedding present.

At least he recognized it as a sewing machine and not "hey, what's that thing"? He must have a Mom who has
    something like you do.
