My grandson is in love with the Yankees and I wanted to make him a quilt using Yankee themed fabric but I am having a hard time finding any fabric. Does anyone know where I can find some.

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-36200-1.htm

Not sure if my link works, but this is a discussion on this board from last year. I didn't read all the posts, but perhaps this will help.

You will not find it in cotton. they only have it in fleece. It is a registered trade mark and you will not find it for sale anywhere. Ask me how I know.LOL

Bearpawquilting.com has only the fleece, but you might contact them and see if they ever stock cotton or know of a source.

Ditto to David's post. Go SOX!!!

Bummer 'cause my Hubbers is a HUGE Yankees fan...wish they would release something with Babe Ruth or Lou Gerhig on them, he would love that. :(

Ohio State Buckeye fabric is also not licensed, and not available. But, clothing, and sometimes sheets are available. So, fabric can be had by buying the clothing or sheets. Tends to be expensive. Perhaps you can find something like this for your team.

    That makes 3!!! Go SOX!!!

So the word is that MLB withdrew the licensing of their logos on cotton fabric, and only allows it on fleece and flannel. Don't know the entire story, but last I saw any remaining quilting quality cotton with MLB logos was selling upwards of $65 per yard, if you can find any at all.
